Job Summary:

The University of Minnesota seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director of Finance to lead the financial management of Boynton Health, a nationally recognized leader in college health. As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Senior Director of Finance will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies to advance the organization's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets to ensure the financial sustainability of Boynton Health.
  • Lead the financial analysis and reporting process to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to identify and pursue revenue opportunities to improve operating budget and future fiscal planning.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to the Executive Director, the Executive Leadership Team, and other University leaders as appropriate.
  • Supervise the functions of revenue cycle, finance, and accounting for Boynton Health and ensure compliance with University policy and procedure requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in accounting or finance with 5 or more years in health care financial management.
  • Strategic financial leadership experience.
  • Supervisory and/or management experience.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and in a large or complex organization.
