Intelligence Operations Specialist

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking a highly skilled Intelligence Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Intelligence and Threat Analysis Division, you will play a critical role in supporting the mission and objectives of the FAA.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research and analysis of open-source and intelligence reporting databases to identify and evaluate aviation and transportation-related threats and incidents.
- Communicate threat information through briefings and written products to inform department leadership and the FAA.
- Monitor and evaluate all-source intelligence and information to identify potential threats to civil aviation from terrorists, insurgents, criminal elements, and nation-states.
- Provide time-critical indications and warning support to FAA and Department of Transportation (DOT) leadership, FAA offices and field elements, and industry partners on emerging threats.
- Contribute to the support of the Washington Operations Center and the Air Traffic Security Coordinators, who manage the Domestic Events Network, by coordinating the FAA's role in the Secure Flight program.
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-H, FG/GS-12 level.
- Experience analyzing and communicating intelligence reporting and finished products in support of leadership and operational planning.
- Experience working in an Intelligence Watch Center or an intelligence operations center.
