Job Overview: We are looking for a meticulous and organized Procurement Specialist to join our energetic Supply Chain/Procurement team at Revolution, a prominent cannabis retail chain. The successful candidate will assist the team with data entry and record management while providing administrative support across Inventory Management and Vendor Relations. This pivotal role will be essential for maintaining precise records, ensuring timely product procurement, and aiding the procurement team in various tasks.

Job Type: Full-Time Hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

Data Entry and Record Management:

  • Precisely input procurement data into the record systems, including purchase orders, invoices, and inventory updates.
  • Maintain comprehensive and organized procurement records, ensuring all data is current and easily retrievable.
  • Verify and reconcile data to guarantee accuracy and completeness.

Administrative Assistance:

  • Support the preparation and processing of purchase orders.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to gather product information, pricing, and availability under the direction of the Senior Manager.
  • Monitor and track order and delivery statuses, updating the procurement team as needed.
  • Act as the liaison between the Procurement group and the FP&A team regarding all purchasing matters.

Inventory Oversight:

  • Assist in monitoring inventory levels and generating reports to ensure optimal stock availability.
  • Collaborate with the inventory team to address discrepancies and resolve issues related to product availability.
  • Process returns and credit requests in conjunction with the retail teams.

Vendor Management:

  • Engage with vendors to resolve any issues related to orders and invoices.
  • Foster positive relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and timely product procurement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • CPSM or CPM Certifications preferred but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience in data entry, administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and experience with procurement software.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the cannabis industry is advantageous but not required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central is a plus but not required.
