The Travel Team, our distinguished full-service travel agency, provides exceptional travel experiences to corporate, group, and leisure clients worldwide.

PURPOSE STATEMENT


The Event Service Supervisor will ensure outstanding customer service for all guests at catering events, both on-site and off-site, delivered promptly and with a positive demeanor.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES

  • Deliver exceptional service to all guests of Rich's.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the menu to provide accurate descriptions to guests.
  • Supervise all servers and bartenders, assisting the Catering Manager in delegating tasks.
  • Oversee and assist with the setup and breakdown of tables, chairs, linens, china, silverware, and glassware; maintain cleanliness and polish of silverware and glassware.
  • Responsible for the conclusion of events and conducting final walkthroughs.
  • Uphold exemplary food handling, safety, and operational practices.
  • Ability to carry trays of food and beverages.
  • Load and unload catering vehicles for off-premise events.
  • Ensure effective communication and timely responses regarding availability and scheduling.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a banquet server and bartender in a reputable banquet facility.
  • Direct customer service experience is essential.
  • Ability to work various shifts, primarily evenings, weekends, holidays, and some early mornings.
  • Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Leadership experience is preferred.
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in time-sensitive situations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience in managing a large team and fostering team building.
  • Knowledge of wine and food pairing.
  • Strong understanding of catering equipment and its usage.

Unrestricted Driver's License:
Must be able to operate company vehicles, including trailers, or demonstrate a willingness to learn.

COMPENSATION


In accordance with state law, the provided rate or range is Rich Products Corporation's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role.

The actual compensation may vary based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differentials, and location.

Annual Range/Hourly Rate: $45.00-$45.00
