Position Overview:

The Islamorada Resort Collection consists of three premier resorts located in Islamorada, a charming village in the Florida Keys: Three Waters Resort & Marina, Amara Cay Resort, and La Siesta Resort & Villas. The Collection provides a seamless Keys experience, featuring twelve restaurants to enjoy island flavors, 80,000 sq. ft. of exquisite event space, 108 slips for boating, 329 guest rooms, and endless activities, events, and amenities. Surrounded by three stunning bodies of water, including the Atlantic Ocean, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Florida Bay, guests can select from four private beaches to unwind or embark on boating, fishing, snorkeling, and diving adventures.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Craft and serve a diverse selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at banquets and events.
  • Ensure a clean and organized bar area, maintaining all supplies and equipment for efficiency.
  • Engage with guests, take orders, and provide tailored recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Mix and garnish cocktails following established recipes and guest specifications.
  • Adhere to responsible alcohol service protocols to ensure guest safety.
  • Collaborate with the banquet team to guarantee timely and efficient beverage service.
  • Manage cash transactions and maintain accurate sales and inventory records.
  • Assist in bar setup and breakdown, including stocking and replenishing supplies.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred one year of bartending experience.
  • Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of drink recipes and beverage merchandising specials.
  • Working knowledge of drink service and bar terminology.
  • Meet the minimum age requirement of the jurisdiction.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the public and fellow team members.
