Overview:

The Islamorada Resort Collection features three premier resorts in Islamorada, Florida Keys: Three Waters Resort & Marina, Amara Cay Resort, and La Siesta Resort & Villas. This collection offers a seamless Keys experience, boasting twelve restaurants for island cuisine, 80,000 sq. ft. of exquisite event space, 108 boat slips, 329 guest rooms, and a plethora of activities, events, and amenities. Surrounded by three stunning bodies of water—the Atlantic Ocean, the Gulf of Mexico, and Florida Bay—guests can relax on four private beaches or embark on boating, fishing, snorkeling, and diving adventures.

Position Summary:

Are you a skilled mixologist with a flair for crafting delightful beverages and delivering outstanding service? As a Banquet Bartender, you will play a vital role in creating memorable experiences for our guests. With enthusiasm and energy, you will have the chance to showcase your creativity while serving a diverse range of beverages at various banquets and events. Whether it’s a wedding, corporate function, or special occasion, your exceptional bartending skills will enhance our guests' experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at events.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized bar area, ensuring all supplies and equipment are accessible.
  • Engage with guests, take orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Mix and garnish cocktails according to established recipes and guest specifications.
  • Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines to ensure guest safety.
  • Collaborate with the banquet team for timely and efficient beverage service.
  • Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate sales and inventory records.
  • Assist in bar setup and breakdown, including stocking and replenishing supplies.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred one year of bartending experience.
  • Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
  • Knowledge of drink recipes and beverage merchandising.
  • Familiarity with drink service and bar terminology.
  • Meet minimum age requirements of jurisdiction.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Effective communication skills with the public and team members.
