Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment by complying with industry codes and standards.
  • Install, terminate, splice, and maintain both copper and fiber optic cabling.
  • Document network configurations by labeling equipment and maintaining inventory records.
  • Install, terminate, and test telecommunications devices, including routers, switches, and alarm systems, along with control and distribution equipment such as relays and circuit breaker panels.
  • Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and repairs on communication systems and equipment.
  • Maintain positive customer relationships by addressing inquiries and concerns.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication throughout the organization.
  • Travel may be required, including potential overnight stays.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent Technical School Diploma.
  • Valid Driver's License with no more than 3 points.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in telecommunications, data networking, security, electrical, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of telecommunications systems with the ability to implement them effectively.
  • Proficient in using industry-related tools and equipment for both electrical and low voltage systems.
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods and navigate construction sites, including climbing ladders and lifting objects up to eighty pounds.
  • Ability to work in diverse environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures and moderate noise levels.
  • Professional demeanor and courteous communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • BICSI or equivalent certifications.
  • 5 or more years of relevant industry experience.
