Responsibilities and Qualifications

The Infection Control Nurse and Vaccine Manager is responsible for the implementation of infection control policies and procedures, including:

  • Conducting audits to ensure compliance with infection control standards
  • Educating employees on safe injection practices and sterilization of reusable devices
  • Responding to employee needle stick or other exposure events
  • Assisting in the development and revision of infection control policies and procedures
  • Investigating suspected outbreaks of infection and preparing for and/or responding to regulatory visits

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in nursing, three years of nursing experience, and certified in infection control (CIC) certification. We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000-$105,000 per year, based on location and industry standards.
