Document Control Specialist

Apollo Professional Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Document Control Specialist to oversee the maintenance of a controlled documentation system. This role involves technical writing and editing for various documents within a modern software development environment.

The estimated salary for this position is $41,380 per year, based on national averages for similar positions in the United States.
About the Role:
The Document Control Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and updating change control documentation. This includes performing technical writing and editing for all types of documentation in the Veeva Document Management System. Additionally, the successful candidate will track and review change control documentation and assist with the editing of quality documents such as SOPs, guidelines, instructions, etc., to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex systems and processes. A background in quality standards and experience with Veeva workflows and approval processes is highly desirable.
Requirements and Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a secondary education diploma and demonstrate strong interpersonal and information-gathering skills. Experience with technical writing, document management, and Veeva workflows is essential. Additionally, proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
Candidates who are self-motivated and proactive in resolving issues will thrive in this environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a team environment, are also essential qualities for success in this role.
