Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at Park Lawn Memorial Group, LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our business operations team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our funeral and cemetery services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the business operations team, including answering phone calls, greeting visitors, and preparing correspondence.
  • Perform accounting and inventory tasks, including processing invoices, reconciliations, and daily deposit reports.
  • Update timekeeping systems, process payments, and schedule appointments as needed.
  • Assist client families with processing paperwork and scheduling appointments.
  • Scan, copy, and print documents as required.
  • Update and maintain files and related systems.
  • Coordinate and maintain office supplies and equipment.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum two years administrative or general accounting experience.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license in good standing and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • High degree of overall computer proficiency.
  • High degree of proficiency in local and virtual data management tools.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency with multi-line phone systems and general office equipment.

  • The duties associated with this position are generally performed in an indoor office setting.
  • Equipment used to perform the essential function of this position includes, but is not limited to, computer, fax, copier, merchant terminal, multi-line phone system, personal or company-owned vehicle.
  • Employees in this role are regularly required to climb, sit, stand, bend, kneel, and frequently lift to 25 pounds.
  • This position may also require reaching, pushing, and pulling.
  • Employees may be exposed to chemicals and/or bloodborne pathogens. Exposure risk is considered: Low
