About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solutions Architect Leader to join our team at Verizon Communications. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of Solutions Architects to drive excellence in solutions development, solutions selling, and opportunity closure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Engagement: Develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales efforts and improve business performance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of Solutions Architects to achieve sales and revenue targets.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior management, executives, and clients at all levels.
  • Technical Sales: Provide high-quality technical sales and support to develop and close sales and service opportunities.
  • Operations Reviews: Conduct regular operations reviews with Solutions Architects to maintain a focus on excellence.
  • Financial Management: Manage a budget to 100% versus the plan.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Share successes and expertise across the Solutions Architect internal community.
  • Customer Issue Resolution: Engage with peer organizations to resolve customer issues.
  • Market Intelligence: Provide timely market information, drivers, and customer feedback to partner organizations for product and technology positioning and enhancements.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or four or more years of work experience.
  • Experience: Six or more years of relevant work experience, including three or more years in a customer-facing leadership role with accountability for end-to-end delivery.
  • Skills: Financial analysis experience, including P&L, ROI, cost analysis, and business case development. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Certifications: Current and valid industry certifications in one or more of the following: Cisco, Microsoft, Tandberg, and/or Polycom.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Regional Experience: Experience managing regional territories, budgets, and operations.
  • Sales Experience: Four or more years of sales experience in wireless data.
  • Dynamic Environment: Experience handling opposing priorities with tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Industry Certifications: Current and valid industry certifications in one or more of the following: Cisco, Microsoft, Tandberg, and/or Polycom.
