Business Unit Sales Manager - Analytical Instruments (Los Angeles)

Our client, a prominent manufacturer of high-precision measuring instruments, is seeking an experienced Business Unit Sales Manager to lead their Western Region team.

Salary: $150,000 - $170,000 per annum, plus a 20 - 30% bonus

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic organization and drive sales growth in the Western Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of field and inside sales representatives, as well as product specialists, to achieve sales targets and manage travel and expense budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a high-performing sales team
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and manage travel and expense budgets
  • Support the team on daily activities and provide coaching and guidance
  • Report to the Vice President of Sales and Service, Eastern Region

Requirements:

  • 3 years of sales management experience, including direct sales experience in analytical instrumentation or technical capital equipment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coach and train sales teams
  • Organizational skills and adaptability to change in a fast-evolving organization and technology
  • A bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred
  • Availability for up to 50% overnight travel
  • A valid driver's license and passport
