Position Overview

The General Manager plays a pivotal role in our restaurants, focusing on team empowerment and customer engagement. You will be responsible for transforming your restaurant into a local culinary hub, leading a dedicated team of up to 15 staff members while sharing in the financial success of your establishment. We highly value the contributions of our General Managers and encourage innovative ideas that enhance our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with Assistant Managers, Team Leaders, and Team Members to deliver outstanding service to our guests.
  • Proactively manage food costs and operational efficiencies.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and develop all in-store personnel.
  • Oversee administrative tasks, particularly related to food and labor cost control.
  • Implement promotional strategies to boost sales and expand our customer base.
  • Handle cash management effectively.
  • Monitor daily operations and initiate corrective measures as needed.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Deliver exceptional food quality and taste.
  • Participate in General Manager training sessions and weekly management meetings.
  • Engage in daily restaurant operations alongside your team.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • 3-5 years of experience in restaurant management or as an executive chef.
  • Experience in managing teams of 20 or more.
  • ServSafe and Allergen Awareness certifications.
  • A proven track record of motivating and leading teams.
  • Experience in building strong culinary teams.
  • Strong financial management capabilities.
  • A genuine passion for food, a positive outlook, and a commitment to high standards.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
