Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all activities related to program and project planning, including budgeting, technical requirements, personnel management, and customer engagement.
  • Manage program management functions, including work assignment, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and quality assurance.
  • Guide the program/project management lifecycle phases: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
  • Ensure comprehensive project oversight, establishing goals and objectives, assigning responsibilities, and documenting outcomes.
  • Collaborate with government officials, contractor managers, and customer representatives to ensure alignment and success.
  • Self-manage assignments to deliver quality results on time and contribute positively to customer success.
  • Encourage teamwork and collaboration among project stakeholders.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work culture, engaging in knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field with 10 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 15 years of experience, along with Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Familiarity with the FAA's Acquisition Management System (AMS) and experience in developing investment analysis business cases is preferred.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale programs/contracts with significant complexity.
  • Experience administering Earned Value Management systems on contracts.
  • Strong communication, organizational, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for a US Public Trust security clearance.
