Job Overview

Reports to: Director, Inside Sales and Customer Service

Collaborates with: Sales, Engineering, Accounting, Project Management, Operations

Core Responsibility: To assist MIRATECH's direct and independent sales channels

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance the efficiency of MIRATECH's external sales team, including both staff and independent agents.
  • Provide exceptional customer service for incoming inquiries and transactions via phone and online requests.
  • Acquire comprehensive knowledge of MIRATECH's offerings, market sectors, and clientele through training and field sales activities.
  • Initiate outbound communications to both new and existing clients to foster and strengthen relationships.
  • Oversee in-house account management and sales activities.
  • Address requests from customers and regional sales managers, prepare proposals, maintain CRM databases, manage documentation, track order progress, and generate reports.
  • Act as a liaison among Engineering, Operations, Sales, Accounting, and Customers.
  • Regularly update call notes and significant account information in the CRM system to maintain customer contact history.
  • Assist in organizing presentations for external sales representatives and clients.
  • Communicate and follow up on sales leads with customers, Regional Sales Managers, and sales channels.
  • Handle customer and product complaints in coordination with the Quality team.
  • Travel as necessary with external sales for ongoing training and development.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience of 3+ years is required.
  • Prior experience in customer service and/or sales is essential.
  • Familiarity with CRM, ERP, or other large database systems is preferred; experience with Syspro is advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal abilities.
  • Motivated to achieve and surpass performance goals and customer satisfaction standards.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Detail-oriented with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Additional language proficiency is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
