Business Development Director

Job Summary:
As a Business Development Director at Acadia Healthcare, you will play a critical role in driving growth and revenue for our organization. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team and lead our business development efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with hospital discharge planners, social workers, case managers, physicians, and management to generate referral sources and drive business growth.
• Work closely with facility and division leaders to evaluate, analyze, and interpret market utilization data for facility service lines, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive internal and external marketing plan to increase revenues and profits for the facility, ensuring alignment with the organization's vision and strategic goals.
• Evaluate and analyze market demographics, including population, age, gender, race, and projected trends for patient populations, to inform business development strategies.
• Collaborate with division and/or market physician services, facility leaders, and medical staff leadership to develop sales and retention strategies for facility services, ensuring effective execution and continuous improvement.
• Execute referrals and retention strategies/plans effectively, modifying strategies and plans as needed to ensure quality outcomes and results for referral sources and the facility.
• Successfully close new referral sources and complete face-to-face meetings with referral sources, ensuring a thorough understanding of services available and providing follow-up meetings as needed.
• Prepare and present regular reports, identifying trends, additional referral opportunities, and obstacles to retention and growth, to inform business development strategies and drive growth.
• Recruit, hire, and train new Business Development staff, ensuring a strong and effective team is in place to drive business growth.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Five or more years related experience in a healthcare business development role, with a minimum of 1 year supervisory responsibility.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, maintain automobile insurance coverage, and have access to an automobile, where facility requires.
