Position Summary:
The role of the Account Manager is pivotal in managing a designated portfolio of clients, nurturing existing business relationships, and actively pursuing new sales opportunities. Familiarity with account management software (CRM) is essential. A successful Account Manager will work closely with the sales team to meet performance targets while ensuring client satisfaction and engagement with our offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for all matters related to customer account management.
- Establish and maintain robust, long-term relationships with clients.
- Negotiate contracts and finalize agreements to optimize profitability.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts and customer stakeholders.
- Ensure timely and effective delivery of solutions in alignment with customer objectives.
- Communicate progress on monthly and quarterly initiatives to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for business development within existing client accounts.
- Monitor and report on key account metrics, including quarterly sales results and forecasts.
- Prepare detailed reports on account status.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within the territory.
- Assist in resolving challenging client requests or escalated issues as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, or in a similar role.
- Proven ability to communicate, present, and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Solid experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho CRM, HubSpot) and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience in delivering client-centric solutions that meet customer needs.
- Ability to manage multiple account management projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent negotiation, listening, and presentation skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
