This pivotal role will focus on recognizing potential business opportunities and executing thorough outreach initiatives to engage business owners and executive-level decision-makers in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.


Position Type:
Full Time; Mid-Level, Non-Manager

Annual Salary:
$90K+, based on experience

Incentive Plan:
Eligible for a Discretionary Incentive Package

Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Core Responsibilities:


1. Identify new business targets weekly in key markets by utilizing insights gathered from senior leadership.

2. Conduct market research under the guidance of senior executives and maintain competitive landscape assessments.
3. Collaborate with leadership to evaluate potential business qualifications, including financial data.

4. Engage in professional networking and foster relationships with potential clients through calls and in-person meetings.

5. Act as a liaison during the preparation and negotiation of agreements and facilitate the exchange of necessary documentation.
6. Oversee all pre-closing activities, coordinating with experts, legal advisors, and consultants.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field is required; an advanced degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven success in business development, preferably in a B-to-B context within a high-volume, lower transactional environment.
• Experience with CRM systems to enhance sales performance is essential; sales management experience will be considered.
• Basic to moderate financial acumen is required; experience as a Lending Specialist, Broker, or Closing Specialist will be advantageous.

• Proven success in business development with executive leadership and small business owners is necessary; experience as a Business Consultant or Analyst will be beneficial.

• Strong skills in persuasion, negotiation, and strategic advising are essential, along with the ability to develop metrics tailored to individual business needs.

• Familiarity with Mergers and Acquisitions in any capacity is preferred; skills in Marketing & Branding are a plus.
