About ProBio
ProBio delivers comprehensive Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) services, spanning from drug discovery to commercialization. With a focus on cell and gene therapy (CGT), vaccines, biologics discovery, and antibody protein drugs, ProBio aims to expedite drug development for its clients. The company’s complete cell and gene therapy solutions encompass Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) for plasmid and viral vectors for Investigational New Drug (IND) submissions, as well as clinical and commercial manufacturing. ProBio has achieved numerous clinical approvals for CGT drugs, including mRNA vaccines and CAR-T therapies in China. Additionally, it is recognized as the first GMP manufacturing platform to offer in vitro transcription (IVT) template linearized plasmids for mRNA vaccines, supporting various global enterprises in obtaining clinical approvals. ProBio also boasts a robust and high-yield viral vector platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze market trends and industry data to bolster the competitive edge of the gene production sector.
- Contribute to the formulation of strategic initiatives for the gene business division.
- Develop and implement annual, quarterly, and monthly operational plans.
- Break down and monitor the execution of work plans across various teams.
- Manage operations to ensure the achievement of key performance indicators, including production output, profit margins, first-time success rates, and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the onboarding and training of new team members, facilitating internal training programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, or related disciplines.
- Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in gene synthesis, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in a high-throughput manufacturing setting, with adaptability to changes in the work environment.
- Excellent team leadership, communication, and coordination abilities.
- Fundamental knowledge of molecular biology is essential; familiarity with project management, 5S methodology, and quality management systems is advantageous.
- Experience with automation tools is a plus.
- Demonstrated sense of responsibility and cost awareness.
