Position Summary:
The Project Manager is tasked with overseeing client projects to ensure that all deliverables align with the defined scope. The ideal candidate will possess a strong scientific foundation, exceptional communication skills, adept problem-solving capabilities, and a keen business acumen. This role requires direct interaction with external clients and collaboration with internal teams, fostering a culture of both cooperation and competition within GenScript.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Assessment: Analyze project strategies and develop service proposals tailored to client requests and scientific insights.
- Project Coordination: Manage cross-functional teams to facilitate research efforts, providing regular updates and feedback to clients regarding project status and troubleshooting, particularly for key accounts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with both commercial and production teams to ensure timely project completion.
- Service Enhancement: Gain a comprehensive understanding of market demands and competitor offerings to optimize and upgrade service packages and technological platforms.
- Operational Support: Assist with the daily operations of the team.
- Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a life sciences discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; a PhD is preferred.
- Strong customer service orientation, high sense of responsibility, and excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Solid technical background in molecular biology, with practical experience preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Capacity to handle high-pressure situations effectively.
