About GenScript ProBio

GenScript ProBio, a subsidiary of GenScript Biotech Corporation, specializes in delivering comprehensive CDMO services from drug discovery to commercialization. We focus on cell and gene therapy (CGT), vaccine development, biologics discovery, and antibody protein drug development, aiming to expedite drug development processes for our clients.

Our extensive cell and gene therapy solutions encompass CMC for plasmid and virus IND filings, alongside clinical and commercial manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee Capex procurement activities.
  • Implement purchasing strategies and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Engage with internal and external customers to resolve issues effectively.
  • Conduct negotiations and manage contracts, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to optimize terms, costs, and deliverables while ensuring quality and mitigating risks.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key functional managers to understand their needs and facilitate effective challenges.
  • Manage MSA, annual contracts, and bid processes.
  • Adhere to global procurement standard operating procedures and policies.
  • Evaluate supplier performance against contractual obligations and business requirements.
  • Maintain material codes and configurations within ERP/SAP and S2P programs.
Required Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing or purchasing roles.
  • Familiarity with bidding procedures and criteria.
  • Strong skills in contract management and negotiations.
  • Proficient in project and change management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly.
  • Ability to enhance operational efficiency continuously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and knowledgeable in ERP/SAP systems.
  • Experience collaborating with multicultural teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in contract development and execution.
