Job Summary

Parkland Health and Hospital System (PHHS) is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and coordinate care delivery with the healthcare team.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized plans of care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient transitions and prevent complications.
  • Delegate interventions to healthcare personnel based on patient needs and employee competencies.
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • 2+ years of PCU nursing experience, with a preference for acute care settings.
  • Current, valid RN license or temporary RN license from the Texas Board of Nursing.
  • Advanced Life Support (ALS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Healthcare provider BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN degree.
  • Experience in an acute care setting.
