Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement the company's compensation strategy and specific pay frameworks, aligning with business goals and ensuring competitive and fair compensation.
- Oversee all aspects of compensation programs, including salary design, equity guidelines, and compensation planning.
- Manage regular market analysis to ensure alignment with the compensation strategy and frameworks.
- Provide thought leadership on compensation design, offering insights into tech industry compensation trends and programs that reward and retain top talent.
- Partner with the Legal team to ensure compliance with local and international labor laws, regulations, and governance requirements.
- Manage and administer executive compensation programs, including salaries and long-term incentives.
- Manage ongoing employee compensation programs, including semi-annual salary adjustments, promotion awards, and equity refreshes.
- Collaborate with the Revenue organization's Go-to-Market team to provide input on sales compensation design, establish competitive pay targets for sales roles, and ensure compensation governance of quarterly sales incentive payouts.
- Support special recognition programs that recognize top talent.
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to educate employees about their compensation, ensuring transparency and understanding.
- Work closely with Finance, Stock Administration, Recruiting, Benefits, and HRBPs as needed on all aspects of compensation.
- Lead and support the compensation team in accomplishing its goals, developing and growing the capabilities of all team members.
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled compensation professional with a strong understanding of global compensation principles, regulations, and market trends. The ideal candidate will have:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in compensation, with 5+ years in a senior management role.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing effective compensation strategies in a complex, fast-paced, tech company environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and draw conclusions from data.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and communicate with all levels of employees.
- The ability to lead, manage, and motivate a team.
- Highly developed collaboration skills.
- The awareness of the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Cloudflare offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary and equity. The estimated annual salary range is $233,000 - $373,000, depending on location. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and welfare benefits, financial benefits, and time off. Our benefits programs can help you pay healthcare expenses, support caregiving, build capital for the future, and make life a little easier and fun.
