Global Capital Equipment Senior Operations Manager

About the Role:

At Boston Scientific, the Global Capital Equipment Senior Operations Manageris the primary point of contact for Global CE Make and Repair. This role is crucial in enabling network standardization and optimization, overseeing CE New Product Introduction (NPE), managing CE acquisitions and transfers, and strategizing systems. This role will be involved in establishing, directly supporting network strategy, and implementing new make/repair sites.

Your Responsibilities Include:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Global CE Make and Repair to enable network standardization and optimization
  • Directly support the strategy and implementation of new make/repair sites and additional product introduction at existing sites
  • Communicate clearly with leadership and the technical community, and interact with Divisional and Global Capital Equipment organizations
  • Drive process standardization and strategic initiatives globally for CE Make and Repair processes
  • Enhance efficiency within the global network for new, transferred, or expanded product lines
  • Engage in Post Diligence Assessments (PDAs) for capital-related acquisitions
  • Create project plans and evaluate detailed deliverables for individual projects
  • Act as a Network Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Make and Repair line establishment and optimization
  • Operate effectively within various aspects of the BSC Quality system and understand the Product Lifecycle Process (PLCP)

Key Competencies:

  • Establish effective manufacturing practices to improve yield tracking/trending and efficiencies in manufacturing and business processes/systems.
  • Develop resource plans for project proposals.
  • Identify and communicate the value proposition for specific projects focused on Manufacturing and Repair.
  • Transition quickly from strategic to tactical operations.
  • Prioritize appropriately and lead others through emerging issues or changes in project plans.

What We're Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or work equivalent experience with 7-10 years of experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in capital equipment operations.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, and executing projects.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and yield optimization techniques.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Knowledge of international standards and compliance requirements related to capital equipment manufacturing and repair.
  • Familiarity with financial modeling and cost-benefit analysis in capital projects.
  • Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
