Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager, Key Accounts to join our team at Breakthru Beverage Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving volume, share, and profit growth in key accounts and on an annual, monthly, customer, and brand basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key influencers of purchasing in multi-unit accounts
  • Present new products and execute on promotional events as prescribed by management
  • Conduct business reviews and lead development of annual plans for key accounts
  • Employ strategies to strengthen our position as the wholesaler of choice in account planning processes
  • Educate account staff on priority brands through instructional staff training seminars and business/category insights
  • Manage and evaluate all promotional spending by account priority and implement corrective business building actions
  • Assist in the development of account-specific presentations and goals for volume, profit, distribution, and merchandising promotion execution
  • Proactively participate in strategy briefing sessions and provide feedback on program executions and effectiveness
  • Drive volume and profit growth of multi-unit accounts
  • Obtain and communicate updated market competitive information
  • Understand company pricing and product programming information on a monthly basis
  • Manage supplier surveys and establish and present merchandising objectives relative to brand priority for each account
  • Produce POS materials, including signage and wine and cocktail lists, leveraging BBG Digital Capabilities
  • Ensure maximum brand visibility within accounts by maintaining account standards and using effective and current point of sale materials
  • Assist event-marketing manager in organizing, soliciting, and executing events and brand promotions to maximize brand visibility
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales
  • Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs, including presentation software
  • Results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills, diplomacy, and discretion, as well as customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines
  • Analytic and reporting skills
  • Utilize sound judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, team environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Supervisory experience
  • Relevant cross-functional experience (finance, operations, IT, HR, project management, etc.)
  • Possess a valid driver's license
Competencies

This role requires the ability to coordinate the work of junior members of the team, resolve issues, and undertake analysis and investigation to solve issues.
