POSITION SUMMARY:


The Patient Services Specialist 2 is integral in delivering administrative assistance within a healthcare environment, ensuring outstanding patient experiences.

Responsibilities encompass patient interaction, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and addressing inquiries.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate patient check-in and check-out processes, along with scheduling and insurance validation
  • Organize follow-up consultations and referral bookings
  • Enroll patients and confirm insurance details
  • Process payments for services rendered and discuss financial options with patients
  • Address inquiries and ensure effective resolution of patient concerns
  • Support medical records management and provide guidance to junior personnel
KEY ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Familiarity with patient registration and medical insurance claim protocols
  • Proficient in utilizing computer systems and maintaining patient documentation
  • Capability to assess overdue accounts and mentor team members
