About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Services Coordinator to join our team at Texas Oncology. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Greeting and Registration: Professionally greet and welcome patients, register them for appointments, and ensure accurate and timely completion of necessary paperwork.
  • Communication and Scheduling: Answer and direct incoming calls, schedule appointments, and communicate with patients and clinical staff in a clear and concise manner.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, including filing charts and forms, maintaining a clean and organized lobby area, and ensuring adequate office supplies.
  • Confidentiality and HIPAA Compliance: Maintain confidentiality and adhere to state, federal, and HIPAA laws and guidelines regarding patient records.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • Receptionist or Office Experience: Preferred.
  • Computer Proficiency: Proficient in computer systems and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Training and Certification: Must successfully complete required e-learning courses within 90 days of occupying the position.
