Job Overview

As a key member of the Finance Team at CRH, this role is essential in delivering comprehensive forecasts regarding the company's profitability and operational effectiveness. The successful candidate will oversee financial performance in the Midwest Region and report directly to the Regional CFO.

Core Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed quantitative analysis of both operational and financial data utilizing various software and reporting tools.
  • Generate financial reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Evaluate historical financial data, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Gather, analyze, and present financial information.
  • Engage in the budgeting and forecasting processes, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections.
  • Prepare monthly financial commentary and reports for leadership review.
  • Assist in the compilation of financial data for strategic initiatives.
  • Perform various ad hoc analyses as requested by management.
  • Monitor infrastructure funding levels and key economic indicators.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications

To excel in this position, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:

Education and Experience

  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of five years of relevant experience; or a combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Prior experience in the construction or building materials sector is preferred.

Work Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background check is required.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary.
  • Adherence to safety protocols as outlined in the Employee Handbook is mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to team efforts.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, with less than 20% of time spent away from home.
  • Consistent and regular attendance is expected.

  • Advanced financial acumen and the ability to interpret financial data effectively.

Physical Requirements
