Procurement Support Specialist

Key ResponsibilitiesThe Acquisition Specialist will deliver essential support to our Department of Defense (DoD) clients, particularly within the US Navy. The role involves:
- Utilizing business process expertise to assist commands effectively.
- Supporting the government in establishing timelines and tracking procurement activities.
- Conducting research and analysis on procurement challenges.
- Facilitating data collection to ensure compliance with regulatory and policy frameworks.
- Collaborating with various stakeholders and organizations.
Daily tasks will encompass program management, analytical assessments, and acquisition oversight. Responsibilities include meticulous management of records, conducting business research, and developing valuation strategies.
Technical ProficienciesProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, is essential. Familiarity with report-writing software and Business Intelligence tools is also beneficial.
Required Qualifications- Proven experience in data preparation, comprehension, and presentation.
- A minimum of 3 years in acquisition management support.
- Competence in using Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, financial, and computer skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capability to work autonomously.
- Effective time management and multitasking skills under tight deadlines.
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
