Job Summary
You will serve as a Human Resources Assistant in the Installation Personnel Administration Center of the U.S. Marine Corps. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting audits, researching and resolving discrepancies, and preparing documents for personnel actions. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of the personnel administration process.
Responsibilities
Conduct 1st and 2nd stage audits of personnel records
Research and resolve travel claim pay and entitlement discrepancies
Prepare discharge certificates, travel orders, and other personnel documents
Ensure uniformed service members receive Department of Defense benefits
Track and report mandatory training events for recruits
Prepare and deliver Permanent Change of Station and Assignment Orders
Requirements
At least one year of specialized experience at the GS-04 grade level or equivalent
Experience performing administrative processes, office operations, and using standard office automated equipment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with a minimum of two full academic years of education above high school. A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
