Starting Salary: $100,500 - $134,250 annually, based on a standard 38:45-hour work week. Salary is contingent upon skills and qualifications, with the upper range reserved for candidates with substantial relevant experience.

ResponsibilitiesWe uphold the commitment State Farm has made to each customer, ensuring they recognize the value we provide as they navigate unexpected challenges. Our team has the unique opportunity to bring reassurance during stressful times, instilling confidence that we are here to assist through life's disruptions. The HCCS Stewardship team manages property claims in a consistent and predictable manner, typically with minimal volume fluctuations in a call center environment. These claims may require one to two inspections conducted by an assignment claim specialist (ACS).
As a Claims Operations Supervisor, you will lead and develop our team members to guarantee they deliver exceptional service to our customers. This includes:
- Direct management of assigned claims personnel, encompassing hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and salary activities
- Oversight of the operation's claims activities, including investigations, claim payments, and adjustment expense payments
- Coordinating, communicating, and implementing new company programs, policies, practices, and procedures
- Ensuring adherence to company procedures, applicable federal/state laws, and legal requirements
- Fostering employee development within an inclusive environment
This is a hybrid role, allowing for a blend of remote work and in-office collaboration. During the training period, a higher percentage of time may be spent in the office to enhance the learning experience.
Operational hours are subject to ongoing evaluation and may adjust based on business needs. Successful candidates should be flexible and willing to work varied shifts, including potential overtime and irregular hours.
Qualifications- Preferred experience in claims operations and/or call center environments
- A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred or equivalent work experience
- Prior leadership experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities
- A relentless focus on customer satisfaction when making decisions
- Ability to candidly assess the environment and address challenges proactively
- Inspire and motivate team members to achieve shared goals
