Key Responsibilities:
We fulfill the commitment State Farm has made to each client, enabling them to recognize the value we provide as they navigate unexpected challenges. Our team plays a crucial role in alleviating stress during difficult times, assuring clients that we are here to support them through life's disruptions. The HCCS Stewardship team manages property claims in a consistent and predictable manner, typically with minimal fluctuations in volume within a call center setting. These claims may require one to two inspections conducted by an Assignment Claim Specialist (ACS).
As a Team Manager, you will be dedicated to leading and nurturing our staff to ensure they deliver exceptional service to our clients. This encompasses:
- Direct management of assigned claims personnel, including hiring, training, coaching, performance evaluations, and salary considerations
- Oversight and regulation of the operation's claims activities, including investigations, claim payments, and adjustment expense payments
- Coordinating, communicating, and implementing new company programs, policies, practices, and procedures
- Ensuring adherence to company protocols, applicable federal/state regulations, and legal requirements
- Fostering employee development within an inclusive environment
This is a hybrid role, allowing for a combination of remote work and collaborative in-office time. During the training phase, you may spend a greater proportion of time in the office to enhance your learning experience.
Our operational hours are regularly assessed and may adjust based on business needs. Successful candidates should be adaptable and willing to work flexible shifts, including potential overtime and irregular hours.
Qualifications:
- Preferred experience in claims operations and/or call center environments
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred or equivalent professional experience
- Prior leadership experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership qualities
- A relentless focus on customer satisfaction when making decisions
- The ability to candidly evaluate our environment and confront challenges directly
