Position Overview

The Security Systems Administrator is responsible for providing leadership, coordination, and management in several key areas: overseeing technical security operations across all U.S. facilities and managing badge and identification operations.

Key Responsibilities

Key duties include:
- Overseeing security technology operations for manufacturing facilities, including the Security Operations Center and identification operations.
- Developing and managing training programs while assisting in the formulation of comprehensive security policies and procedures.
- Administering a significant portion of the Corporate Security Budget, which encompasses physical security operations, electronic system development, maintenance, and installations. This includes providing consultative services to affiliated companies regarding overall security budgets.
- Ensuring the operational integrity and accountability of all departmental equipment and systems utilized for security services, including CCTV, life safety systems, visitor management, and incident tracking systems.
- Planning, designing, and implementing security and access control systems, as well as managing vendor relationships for maintenance and repairs across all manufacturing sites.
- Coordinating departmental projects aimed at enhancing security infrastructure and overseeing all related documentation, including purchase requisitions and service contracts.

Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for candidates who possess:

Required Experience:
- Comprehensive knowledge of security management, including familiarity with local and state building codes and ADA requirements, along with training or experience in security management, negotiation, and procurement techniques.
- The ability to interpret and understand blueprints.

Required Education:
- A Bachelor's degree in Security Management or a related field, or equivalent experience of 10+ years in Security Management and Administration, focusing on the development and implementation of national procedures and programs in physical and electronic security management.
- Certification as a Lenel OnGuard Expert, with current credentials.
- Basic training certifications in Milestone XProtect.

Desired Skills:
- Proficiency in planning and designing security access systems, fire life safety systems, and closed-circuit television systems.

Working Conditions

Additional Considerations:
- Travel may be required, estimated at 20% of the time.
- Candidates must be able to navigate safely through industrial environments and construction sites.
- Work hours may vary, including weekends and holidays, as necessary to support business operations.
