Position Overview:
The Laboratory Technician is tasked with executing routine general chemistry evaluations and sample preparations in accordance with established methodologies. The role also encompasses supporting administrative duties and conducting Good Laboratory Practices checks.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Receive, process, and monitor analytical sample requests
  • Liaise with project managers to gather essential information
  • Coordinate analyses with fellow analysts in the Analytical Section
  • Conduct routine in-house chemical and physical assessments
  • Oversee and maintain basic analytical instruments
  • Ensure the laboratory is maintained in a safe and orderly manner
  • Accurately document analytical results
  • Adhere to the Integrated Management System and all company policies and procedures

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Associate degree or B.S. in a Science-related discipline with one year of relevant experience, or a High School Diploma (or GED) with three years of relevant experience

  • Strong planning and organizational abilities
  • Capability to accurately execute analytical procedures and administrative tasks
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office)
