Job Summary:

The Senior Otolaryngology Specialist will provide high-quality patient care, specializing in general otolaryngology with a focus on Sleep Medicine. This role will involve surgical procedures, consultative services, outpatient services, and care of hospitalized patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including surgery, consultative services, and care of hospitalized patients.
  • Participate in teaching activities, including conferences, lectures, bedside teaching, and rounds.
  • Supervise and evaluate residents, providing medical direction and participating in committee memberships.
  • Advance clinical knowledge through scholarly and research efforts, including publication of scientific articles.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of an ACGME-approved residency training program in otolaryngology.
  • Interest in sleep medicine and eligibility for or possession of a Texas Medical License without restrictions.

Working Conditions:

This position will primarily be deployed in clinics, with occasional sessions at other locations.
