Job Summary:
The Senior Otolaryngology Specialist will provide high-quality patient care, specializing in general otolaryngology with a focus on Sleep Medicine. This role will involve surgical procedures, consultative services, outpatient services, and care of hospitalized patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including surgery, consultative services, and care of hospitalized patients.
- Participate in teaching activities, including conferences, lectures, bedside teaching, and rounds.
- Supervise and evaluate residents, providing medical direction and participating in committee memberships.
- Advance clinical knowledge through scholarly and research efforts, including publication of scientific articles.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an ACGME-approved residency training program in otolaryngology.
- Interest in sleep medicine and eligibility for or possession of a Texas Medical License without restrictions.
Working Conditions:
This position will primarily be deployed in clinics, with occasional sessions at other locations.
