Fusion HCR is in search of a proficient and committed Concrete Construction Superintendent to direct and oversee all facets of concrete building projects. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in concrete operations, demonstrating extensive knowledge of construction techniques, safety measures, and industry standards. As the Concrete Construction Superintendent, your role will involve coordinating on-site activities, ensuring project delivery within budget and timelines, while upholding superior quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Oversight: Strategically plan, schedule, and manage concrete construction projects from start to finish. Track project progress and ensure compliance with timelines and financial plans.
  2. Team Management: Lead and mentor construction teams and subcontractors, fostering a safe and efficient work atmosphere.
  3. Quality Assurance: Supervise concrete pouring and finishing operations, ensuring adherence to specifications and regulatory requirements.
  4. Safety Management: Uphold strict compliance with safety regulations and company protocols to reduce on-site incidents and promote a secure working environment.
  5. Resource Coordination: Effectively manage construction materials, tools, and workforce to enhance project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  6. Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and address construction-related challenges, collaborating with stakeholders to devise effective solutions.
  7. Effective Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and team members.
  8. Documentation Management: Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and daily logs.
  9. Inspection Coordination: Organize and participate in inspections to ensure work quality and compliance with project specifications and regulations.
  10. Continuous Development: Stay informed about industry innovations and best practices, integrating advanced approaches into construction methodologies.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent (additional relevant certifications or training preferred).
  2. Experience: Demonstrated experience in concrete construction with a proven history of managing projects successfully.
  3. Technical Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of concrete construction methods, materials, and equipment.
  4. Leadership Abilities: Capability to lead and inspire teams effectively, cultivating a positive and collaborative work culture.
  5. Safety Commitment: Strong dedication to safety practices and fostering a culture of safety on-site.
  6. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination and documentation.
