Position Overview:
This role entails managing the operations and productivity of the sprinkler service division, ensuring seamless service delivery from initial sale to ongoing customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily departmental activities and workflow.
  • Conduct timely and constructive performance assessments.
  • Install or enhance sprinkler systems in both commercial and residential properties.
  • Test and repair existing sprinkler systems to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Perform inspections to verify compliance with safety codes and standards.
  • Document inspection findings and address any identified issues promptly.
  • Communicate with building engineers and property managers regarding work status.
  • Ensure the integrity of all installations before connecting to the building's sprinkler system.
  • Maintain and inspect company vehicles and equipment, submitting repair requests as necessary.
  • Adhere to safety protocols while operating warehouse equipment.
  • Respond to emergency service requests efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
  • NICET certification and familiarity with NFPA standards (including 70 and 72).
  • High School Diploma or Technical School certification preferred.
  • Experience with both commercial and residential sprinkler systems.
  • Proven leadership abilities to manage teams effectively.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively or independently.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Flexibility to accommodate varying work schedules, including evenings and weekends.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and safety practices.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Proficient in interpreting and applying laws and regulations.
  • Experience with small/light equipment and tools.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires regular standing, walking, and the use of hands for various tasks. Employees may need to lift or move heavy objects and perform physical activities such as balancing, climbing, and reaching.
