Receptionist Job Description

At Chelsea Jewish Lifecare, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and staff, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer and screen all incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner
  • Provide basic facility information and forward inquiries to the Director of Community Relations or Executive Director as needed
  • Greet all visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Perform administrative duties, such as mailings, scheduling appointments, and organizing packages
  • Be aware of resident safety issues and advise staff when necessary
Requirements:
  • High degree of communication and customer service skills
  • Good judgment and initiative
  • Knowledge of office computer software
  • Strong organizational skills
Work Schedule:
  • Part-time: day shifts available 7am-3pm (M,W,Th), 7am-1pm (Fr). Weekend shifts available 7am-2pm or 2pm-7pm
