Job Title: Front Desk Medical Receptionist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our team at Vaco. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our medical team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Registration: Greet patients, check-in and check-out scheduled patients, and verify patient demographics and insurance information.
  • Insurance and Billing: Educate patients about insurance coverage, in-network vs. out-of-network benefits, and ensure necessary paperwork is complete and on file.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Schedule appointments, notate cancelled or rescheduled appointments, and follow our Patient No Show/Cancellation Policy.
  • Financial Transactions: Address patient balances, set up payment plans, collect and enter patient payments, and balance daily receipts.
  • Record Management: Release records to patients, enter charges and payments for medical records requests, and accept and review patient disability forms and/or medical records requests.
  • Office Administration: Open and close the office, sign for incoming deliveries, and maintain a professional work atmosphere.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, excellent communication and organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
