Finance Leadership Development Internship

What You'll Do
  • Develop critical leadership and functional skills in areas such as financial planning and analysis, management reporting, financial reporting, and investment accounting and analysis.
  • Participate in a 10-week experience that includes formal and experiential learning, volunteerism, and networking.
  • Work on a capstone team project outside of your assignment domain, partnering with other interns to research and present.
  • Gain access to early candidate opportunities, including our full-time rotational program.
What We're Looking For
  • Students expecting to graduate prior to August 2026 with a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Insurance Risk, and Business Analytics majors.
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher at graduation.
  • A record of high achievement, analytical thinking, initiative, and process improvement.
  • Strong communication, change agility, and team skills.
  • Data analytics and financial modeling coursework is a plus.
  • Leadership experience outside of the classroom.
Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market.

Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency, and demonstration of competencies required for the role.

The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees.

Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition.
