Actuarial Leadership Development Program

MassMutual is seeking an experienced Actuarial Associate to join our rotational Actuarial Leadership Development Program (ALDP). This program provides a unique opportunity to develop leadership skills, gain industry knowledge, and work on high-profile projects in a respected and highly rated company.

The Opportunity

As an Actuarial Associate in the ALDP, you will have the chance to work on a variety of projects, including:

  • Meaningful projects that apply your knowledge and skills
  • Networking opportunities with senior actuaries, including the Chief Actuary and Chief Investment Officer
  • Executive speaker series that educate you on industry issues and company initiatives
  • External seminars and meetings to enhance your understanding of industry issues and network with other professionals
  • Corporate learning and development programs to develop leadership competencies
  • Community volunteer opportunities to give back to the local community
  • Social and networking events to connect with other students and company actuaries
The Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A BA or BS with a quantitative focus (e.g., Mathematics, Actuarial, Finance, Economics or related major)
  • Passed at least 4 or more actuarial exams
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in an actuarial related position
The Ideal Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who are committed to pursuing Fellowship in the Society of Actuaries and have demonstrated leadership skills. Experience with actuarial modeling platforms, annuities, and Prophet is a plus.
