HR Benefits Coordinator Job Description

Our client, a stable global organization, is seeking an HR Benefits Coordinator to support their HR team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of HR experience with benefits exposure and a strong understanding of HR processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support employee benefits, including LOA, FMLA, retirement benefits, and open enrollment.
  • Coordinate contingent workforce, including temporary employees and student workers, and develop relationships with temporary agencies.
  • Process worker's compensation claims and OSHA log paperwork.
  • Assist with job posting, candidate review, phone screens, testing, and reference checks.
  • Participate in effective onboarding of new employees, coordinating paperwork, orientations, and training.
  • Administer health and welfare plans, including answering benefits questions and processing enrollments.
  • Coordinate service award programs and maintain employee personnel files and records.
  • Act as a resource for employees, answering questions and referring them to appropriate resources.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of HR experience
  • Bachelor Degree or Master Degree
  • Strong ATS experience, preferably with Dayforce
  • Experience in benefits within an organization
  • Ability to commute onsite daily

This is a 90-day contract-to-hire opportunity with a stable global organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR processes and benefits administration.
