French Fountains, a high-end fountain company in New Orleans established in 2003, is seeking a skilled Office Manager and Financial Controller to join our team.

Estimated Salary:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have previous experience with QuickBooks accounting and inventory management. They will be responsible for managing the gallery's financial and physical order, preparing and examining financial records, and performing data entry and administrative duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the gallery's financial and physical order
  • Prepare and examine financial records
  • Perform data entry and administrative duties
  • Manage shipping and inventory entry in QuickBooks
  • Manage the organization of the office, including filing and sorting documents
  • Sales support and offer engaging customer service
  • Create, organize, and maintain inventory, sales, and promotional materials
  • Manage and create production reports to meet timely deadlines
  • Manage warehouse costs for materials and labor for products produced
  • Maintain appointment calendars for sales meetings, installations, and deliveries
  • Manage communications with warehouse staff and gallery location
  • Manage the quality of the gallery appearance, from hanging product pictures to alleviating clutter

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with QuickBooks accounting and inventory management required
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping and preparing profit and loss statements for taxes
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Having a car and being able to drive if needed in New Orleans
  • Capable of writing emails in Word or Pages
  • Skills not required but a plus: experience with Illustrator or PhotoShop; ability to draw illustrations, and/or photography
  • Experience with engaging with clients to offer excellent customer service
