We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative Assistant III to join our team at the Department of State Health Services. This role is responsible for providing administrative support to the Unit office, ensuring efficient administrative management and coordination of unit and branch activities.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Provide administrative support to the Unit office, including coordination of unit and branch activities, and ensure efficient administrative management.

• Serve as the Unit initial point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing customer service and responding to inquiries.

• Assist in the preparation of correspondence, spreadsheets, documents, and reports, and maintain accurate and organized records.

• Coordinate with Unit staff to ensure critical administrative duties and assignments are completed, and participate in the interviewing and selecting of administrative support staff.

• Perform other duties as assigned, including attending Unit and Branch staff meetings, and preparing minutes as needed.

**Requirements**

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.

• Proven experience in administrative support roles, with a strong background in office operations and customer service.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
