Automotive Claims Specialist

Our Team: We are committed to hiring top talent to ensure outstanding service for our clients. As a Claims Specialist in our Claims Administration Department, you will join a dedicated team that is essential to our claims management process. In this role, you will collaborate with clients, vehicle assessors, and repair shops to ascertain the root cause of vehicle issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and validate information provided on claims to ensure that customer complaints, diagnoses, and defective parts are accurately documented and justify the approved repairs.
- Evaluate repair costs to ensure they align with industry standards.
- Confirm that repair details comply with the coverage limits outlined in the service contract.
- Engage with customers, agents, and dealers to conduct thorough investigations of claims.
- Facilitate fair settlements for claims.
- Support team objectives by achieving related outcomes as necessary.
- Ensure claims are processed in accordance with the policies and procedures established by Smart AutoCare.
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in claims processing.
- 2-3 years of leadership experience.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.
- Current or previous ASE Certification is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in automotive repair and diagnostics.
- Familiarity with Parts and Labor Guides.
- Intermediate proficiency in Windows-based computer applications.
- Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.
- Capability to read, analyze, and interpret general business correspondence or technical documents.
- Aptitude for solving practical problems and managing various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
