Position Summary:
We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Presbyterian Healthcare Services.


In this role, you will be responsible for developing and refining processes to address intricate challenges while taking into account the capabilities and limitations of computing resources, operational timelines, and the desired outcomes.

You will engage in the design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of software applications. You will be expected to operate at the highest technical level across all stages of application programming activities.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
Proficient in JavaScript and React, with experience in associated frameworks (such as Express, Hapi, etc.)
Skilled in developing RESTful or SOAP web services.
Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5 and CSS3.
Familiar with Relational Databases (Oracle or SQL Server) and NoSQL databases.
Experience with agile software development methodologies and release processes.
Proficient in version control systems such as Git.

Experience with cloud technologies like Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.

Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
Command line experience in Linux.
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) is beneficial.
Familiarity with Sitecore is advantageous but not mandatory.

Educational and Professional Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical or business field, along with 4 years of IT or business experience. Alternatively, 6 years of additional experience may substitute for the degree.
Advanced knowledge of Computer Science principles, programming languages/tools, and debugging techniques.
Ability to analyze information, define software design requirements, and develop, test, and implement software components.
Capability to document software design and operational instructions effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide advanced support for defining and refining business requirements, as well as for quality assurance and acceptance testing.
Design, develop, test, and debug software components of moderate to high complexity.
Offer implementation, production, and upgrade support for software components.
Oversee the development of user and technical documentation in accordance with departmental standards.
