Marketing Director Job Description

Hillside Rehab and Healthcare Center is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Director to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving top-line revenue growth by maintaining and exceeding budgeted census and case mix.

The Marketing Director will oversee external marketing efforts, F2F sales, business development, referral generation, and overall census growth performance for the facility. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the mission, vision, and goals of the organization, upholding and promoting company culture and vision.
  • Functioning as a member of the leadership team to support and promote the vision, mission, and culture of the company.
  • Maintaining compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Personally accountable for F2F marketing/sales of facility services, achieving quotas/ratios, and maintaining and building professional relationships.
  • Supporting and motivating team members to achieve and exceed occupancy and revenue goals established by the company.
  • Ensuring the services and fee structure are accurately represented.
  • Developing and implementing strategic monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing plans in cooperation with the Executive Regional Business Development Director.
  • Participating in weekly marketing meetings with the facility Administrator and entire Interdisciplinary Team to discuss bed offers, prospecting for referrals, daily and weekly marketing agendas, event planning, performance expectations, sales strategies, marketing planning, and success celebrations.
  • Maintaining a strong knowledge of all competitors, services provided, rates, and an updated competitive analysis. Providing open, honest, and candid conversations with supervisor and home office on roadblocks or areas of concern.
  • Responsible for the supervision, effectiveness, and accountability of the outside business development activities.
  • Attending all required facility in-service trainings and participating in company training programs both online and in person as required.
  • Continuing to develop job-related knowledge, skills, and abilities by participating in continuing educational opportunities for personal growth and development.
  • Implementing individual goals and targets for sales team, regarding number of calls per day, end of day reporting, follow-up time lines, closing ratios, call and outreach blitzes, in conjunction with community and company standards and needs.

Requirements:

  • Nursing Home Marketing: 1 year minimum, 3 years preferred.
  • SNF: 1 year (Required).

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions and possess excellent written/verbal communication skills in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to effectively communicate and train on the systems and processes.
  • Ability to explain current monthly service fee structure and basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to work with the elderly in a courteous and friendly manner, demonstrating patience and compassion, flexibility, and adaptability.
  • Ability to perform duties with consideration for Residents' rights at all times and demonstrate integrity and discretion in the care of Residents and in handling their personal information.
  • Must be a self-starter, attentive to detail, and possess excellent organization skills.
  • Ability to manage, supervise, coach, and motivate others and build teams.
  • Must be able to work with little supervision and maintain a positive attitude and approach to new ideas, changes, and improvements.
  • Effective sales, leadership, and presentation skills, including public speaking and group presentations.
  • Marketing planning and analysis.
  • Knowledge of practices and procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to senior living care.
  • Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to learn and utilize Yardi Lead Management software.
  • Ability to organize, implement, and manage programs, goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and resources.
