Key Responsibilities:
As an Operations Support Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing backup support for various Operations Support functions, including Scheduling, Purchasing, and Timekeeping.
  • Managing Inventory control and overseeing the Cycle count process.
  • Acting as a liaison between Scheduling and Production for the Advanced Scheduler feature of the timekeeping system.
  • Learning and troubleshooting associated Software systems (Financial, ERP/MRP, Payroll/Time).
  • Identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives through effective problem analysis and resolution.
  • Working independently while efficiently managing time and utilizing experience to achieve goals.
  • Communicating effectively and respectfully, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ensuring compliance with work instructions and Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.
  • Maintaining adherence to company policies and fostering positive employee relations.
  • Upholding the highest standards of ethics and confidentiality.
  • Creating a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Functioning effectively in a fast-paced, diverse team environment.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • An Associate's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in operating basic computer equipment and company-standard software.
  • Strong skills in Financial and HRIS software.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical functions accurately.
  • Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and communicating industry-specific documentation.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening.
  • Eligibility for employment in the United States.
  • A valid state-issued driver's license.

Work Environment:
This position typically involves a traditional work week (Monday to Friday) with core hours. You may occasionally be required to work during non-traditional hours. The role involves:

  • Working in a standard office setting, which includes sitting, using a computer, and standard office equipment.
  • Occasional physical activities such as lifting, reaching, and bending.
  • Exposure to a factory environment with potential high noise levels and other industrial conditions.

Travel Requirements:
Some travel within the state may be necessary, with limited travel outside the state.
