Role Summary:
The Clinical Coordination Specialist plays a vital role in supporting nursing students by managing their clinical experiences with exceptional care. This position involves collaborating with deans, program coordinators, and faculty to identify clinical partners that facilitate evidence-based learning opportunities. The specialist will also represent the college to clinical agencies and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate clinical placements for nursing students by establishing and nurturing relationships with healthcare facilities.
  • Oversee clinical affiliation agreements, ensuring all necessary contracts are signed and maintained.
  • Act as the primary contact for clinical faculty and students, addressing any concerns and escalating issues as needed.
  • Coordinate healthcare-related events and meetings to foster collaboration among clinical partners.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with healthcare educators to enhance clinical opportunities.
  • Monitor compliance with accreditation standards and ensure all clinical site evaluations are completed.
  • Support students through effective communication and proactive engagement with all stakeholders.
  • Assist in tracking student outcomes and program effectiveness in collaboration with the Workforce Solutions team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three years in business development or relationship management.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Preferred experience in the healthcare sector.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
