Job Overview

Sunrise Senior Living is a leading provider of senior living communities, and we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our team as an Assisted Living Manager. As a member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of care and service for our residents.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership
    • Develop and implement operational strategies to drive business growth and improve resident satisfaction.
    • Lead and manage a high-performing team of caregivers and support staff to deliver exceptional care and services.
  • Recruitment and Talent Development
    • Recruit, hire, train, and develop a talented team of caregivers and support staff to meet the needs of our residents.
    • Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management to ensure team members have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Quality and Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and Sunrise Senior Living standards.
    • Monitor and improve quality of care and services to meet or exceed resident expectations.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage department budgets to ensure financial stability and growth.
    • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
    • Participate in regular meetings and committees to drive business growth and improve resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Minimum one year supervisory/management experience in assisted living or long-term care.
  • BA/BS degree may be required based on state requirements.
  • Demonstrated good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new applications.
  • Effective organization, time management, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to handle multiple priorities and delegate assignments.
  • Scheduling experience is a definite asset.
  • A dedication to seniors and their well-being is essential.
